Leao and Pulisic return to Milan as the Fiorentina trip looms.
Stefano Pioli has begun to recover almost all of his Milan squad following the international break, with Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic returning today.
The most recent round of international fixtures featured largely friendly matches as UEFA sides prepare for the upcoming European Championship and CONMEBOL teams prepare for the Copa América. Both tournaments begin in June, rounding out the 2023-24 season. Milan is in an unusual position with just over two months left in the season, 14 points behind league leaders Inter and 11 points ahead of fifth-place Roma, all but ensuring their participation in next season’s Champions League.

TMW reports that Pioli will only have his whole Milan squad accessible from Thursday onwards, but the majority of players who have been away have begun to return, with Leao, Pulisic, and Yunus Musah all returning to Milanello today.
The majority of the players did low-impact individual work on the training ground today, while Simon Kjaer will have a second series of tests later this week following the injury he sustained while overseas with Denmark.
