After spending three seasons with the Chicago Bears, quarterback Justin Fields has transitioned to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He recently joined the Steel City following the Bears’ acquisition of the No. 1 draft pick this year, courtesy of a significant trade with the Carolina Panthers. This trade signifies a fresh start for Fields.

Dov Kleiman shared a picture of Fields dressed in Steelers attire shortly after his arrival. While some fans eagerly anticipate Fields’ tenure with Pittsburgh, others express reservations.
Fields was drafted by the Bears as the No. 11 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft amid high expectations, given his impressive college career at Ohio State. However, in his three professional seasons, he has fallen short of expectations, with a completion rate of just 60.3% and no single-season totals exceeding 2,600 passing yards or 18 touchdown passes.
It is anticipated that Fields will serve as the backup to Russell Wilson in Pittsburgh, although there is speculation that he may assume the starting role at some point during the upcoming season. The Steelers, who won 10 games and made the playoffs last season despite struggling at the quarterback position, are hoping for improved performance with the addition of Wilson and a capable Fields.
Despite maintaining a streak of non-losing seasons since 2003, the Steelers have not won a playoff game since the 2016 season, when wide receiver Antonio Brown was still a key player for the team.
