Everton announces yet another setback due to Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s decision against West Ham.
For their Premier League match against West Ham United at Goodison Park today, Everton has made two changes.
As Dominic Calvert-Lewin moves to the bench, Beto takes the starting position up front. For the Toffees, Calvert-Lewin has not scored in 20 appearances; his last goal came four months ago in a 1-0 victory over West Ham at the London Stadium.
Idrissa Gana Gueye, who hobbled off in the 1-1 draw at Brighton last Saturday, is sidelined due to a groin problem. Gueye is replaced in the middle of the field by Amadou Onana, who was a little doubt earlier in the game.
Everton is going after their first league victory in ten games. The news that their point deduction for breaking Premier League profit and sustainability regulations was cut from ten to six earlier this week gave them a boost.
