On January 6 of this year, he was pulled over for driving at 48 mph in a 30 mph zone near Ballyhennan Crescent in Tarbet.

On the same day, he was also seen driving at 55 mph in a different 30 mph zone not too far away, on the A83 in Arrochar.
At the hearing on Tuesday, which took place at the Dumbarton Sheriff Court buildings, McCoist, who lives in Bridge of Weir, Renfrewshire, was fined £310 for the Arrochar incident and £200 for the Tarbet offense.
The most well-known aspect of McCoist’s 61st birthday celebration on Sunday was his 15-year tenure with the Rangers FC, during which he made 418 appearances and scored 251 goals.
In addition to stints with St Johnstone, Sunderland, and Kilmarnock during his playing career, he managed the team for three years from 2011 to 2014 after serving as Walter Smith’s assistant.
McCoist, who also scored 19 goals and earned 61 caps for Scotland, has been employed by ITV as a studio analyst or co-commentator in recent years.
