Unbelievable!, As Philadelphia 76ers Make New roster move that could…
This is the time of year when NBA teams start deciding on their starting lineups for the rest of the campaign. This involves releasing players on both conventional and two-way contracts in order to make room on the roster for players who would be a better fit. On Friday, the Philadelphia 76ers made the decision to let go of two-way player Kenneth Lofton Jr., a former forward for the Memphis Grizzlies.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN broke the news that Lofton and the 76ers were splitting ways on X, the original name of Twitter. After being waived by the Grizzlies earlier in the season, Lofton signed with Philadelphia, where he played in just two 76ers games during his brief NBA career.
Although Lofton has demonstrated some promise in the G-League, he hasn’t had a chance to prove it in the NBA. Lofton played 24 games during his debut season with the Grizzles, which gave him the longest taste of life in the NBA. The majority of these were for predetermined games with limited minutes, so Lofton has not had many opportunity to rotate in.
Lofton, who is currently a free agent, will be searching for a new opportunity from an NBA franchise. For the former Grizzlies and 76ers forward, it will probably also be a two-way contract if that opportunity arises.
