Journalist Dean Jones of GIVEMESPORT has revealed that Celtic has been looking into the market to sign a new left-back during the January transfer window, and there’s still a chance that something might come up in the last hours.
The Scottish Premiership team has had a quiet transfer window thus far, but Brendan Rodgers has been pressing for the signing of a left-back. Although things haven’t completely worked out yet, Celtic still has time to complete a deal.

It’s understood that Hugo Bueno of Wolverhampton Wanderers was not successful in being acquired by Celtic during the January transfer window, and that Paris Saint-Germain left-back Layvin Kurzawa has emerged as a late target. Rodgers recently stated that Greg Taylor would be out for “a few weeks,” underscoring their need for a new left-back this month.
Journalist Jones earlier revealed to GIVEMESPORT that PSG is trying to find a left-back replacement, and on deadline day, Kurzawa is being offered to ‘a few clubs’.
